Former Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar remains in the news even after retiring. Often called the ‘God of Cricket’ — every now and then, his activities on social media rejuvenate the fans. Even after retiring from cricket in 2013, Tendulkar remains active on social media.

A video of him playing football has now gone viral. The FIFA World Cup is currently in progress, and Tendulkar can be seen showcasing his football skills.

Master-blaster has shared a video on his Instagram in which he can be seen playing football. In this video, fans have been awestruck by his excellent skills in other sports. His game as per fans looks no less than that of a professional football player.

In the video, it can be seen how he is giving his teammates the pass and not letting the football go away from him. Sharing this video, the star master-blaster wrote in the caption, “Football on my mind!”

Sachin made his international debut at the age of 16 and went on to represent India in over 200 Test matches and 400 One Day Internationals.

Tendulkar still holds several records in international cricket, including the most runs and centuries scored in both Test matches and ODIs.

Currently, Sachin Tendulkar holds the record for scoring the most runs in international cricket. In his career, he scored a total of 34,357 runs at an average of 48.52 across 664 matches.

He scored 100 centuries and 164 half-centuries in his career. Meanwhile, the current Indian player Virat Kohli is second on this list with 24,553 runs from 482 matches, including 72 centuries and 129 half-centuries.

He was the first player to score 100 international centuries and he is the first batsman to hit an ODI double hundred.

Tendulkar was awarded the Bharat Ratna, India’s highest civilian honor, in 2014 for his contributions to cricket.
