The funny video of garlanding PM Modi has brought some humor to the BJP convention, catching the attention of many online.
The Bharatiya Janata Party’s national convention for the Lok Sabha elections was held in Delhi. On the second day of the convention, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and National President J.P. Nadda addressed the convention.
The BJP official X (Formerly Twitter) handle shared video clips of important moments from Modi’s speech on social media platforms.
However, amidst this program, one humorous video clip that involves garlanding the PM has gone viral, adding a touch of humor to the proceedings.
Most of us will not find anything unusual with the clip. But the internet is full of probing eyes who dig into every micro detail of the clip.
What is in this clip?
At the beginning of the convention, the BJP welcomed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s arrival on the podium with chants of ‘Jai Shri Ram,’ to rejoice in the earlier inauguration of Ayodhya Ram Mandir, led by PM Narendra Modi, on January 22, 2024.
At this point, a large group of supporters was brought onto the stage. Former BJP National President and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, current National President J.P. Nadda, and Home Minister Amit Shah were also present beside Modi.
A huge garland was brought in by the supporters. soon after, the solemn ceremony took an unexpected turn when both Rajnath Singh and J.P. Nadda tried to adorn garlands, perhaps thinking that it was also meant for them, leading to a lighthearted struggle that quickly became a sensation on social media.
A short while later, all three leaders can be seen looking towards each other.
Both leaders were seen smiling as they attempted to navigate through the humor of the situation. Shortly after, another tweet was posted. At least they tried.
After this video clip went viral, memes started flooding both ‘X’ and other social media platforms.
The incident has taken on a humorous tone with the phrase “गजब बेज्जती है यार” (Wow, what an embarrassment, dude), popular from Amazon Prime’s hit web series ‘Panchayat,’ being used to describe this short event.
PM Modi’s critics attempted to portray this event as yet another instance of self-glorification and a lack of teamwork on his part.
In the event, Prime Minister Narendra Modi tried to boost the morale of party workers through his speech. “In the last 10 years, the benefits of BJP’s schemes have reached millions of people.
Reach out to those beneficiaries, and convey my greetings to them. For this, take the help of the NaMo app, and convey my greetings and my letter to them.
Do not leave a single new voter at each booth until BJP workers reach,” Modi urged.
